This is in response to a question posted by bettierage in which a christian responded with: " Jesus is warming up the charcoals for you right now sweetie pie."

Where does Jesus say that he is responsible to warm up the charcoals? Is he responsible for hell? I thought it was created for the devil and his angels, and not for humans.. or was this some kind of invitation to a christian barbeque?

Well I don't think it was right for that person to say that Jesus was warming up the charcoals for them because Jesus Himself said that He came not to destroy men's lives but to save them.

And there is a place much more worse than Hell which is called the Lake of fire. Death and Hell will both be cast into this Lake of fire, along with whosoever was not found written in the Lamb's Book of Life.

The Dragon, which is called the Devil and Satan, shall also be cast into the Lake of fire, along with the beast and the false prophet.

now this is one those question I am going to keep but I don't remeber it saying that but it does speak on hell and it' mouth being wide plus MATTHEW 13; vs 49 So shall it be at the end of the world; the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, vs50 says And shall cast them into the furnase of fire; there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. and also say's there is a way that seem right straight is the gate and narrow is way that leads to life and few there that find it MATTHEW 7-14 .

Well, if you but the idea that Jesus is God, and the idea that God created everything...then yes. God created Hell and eagerly waits to throw anyone who didn;t kiss his ring (and in the proper manner) into it.

What a loving, Christian attitude.

I, of course, buy into nether idea. I just think that the poster was being typically judgemental and exhibiting exactly the sort of thing that turns people off Christianity.

It sounds like the Christian was being kind of hateful. Some people just love to tell you that you are going to hell. They get off on it or something.

Please do not let the words of these holier-than-thou, know- littles raise your blood pressure. They are the adult equivilents of kindergarten kids who are always going, "Nyah, nyah".
For some reason, people who quote "holy" books and people who paraphrase and parrot their "holy" men are more to be pitied because they seem to have left their brains in the dust. A little common sense would go much farther.

Maybe we don't become angels when we go to heaven, but instead we are like the fillet mignon of the spirit world. They are just fattening us up for right now.

When the apostles saw him on the shore after the resurrection, they broke bread and ate fish. Fish had to be cooked. Back then they didn't have gas grills, so he must have heated the coals.

Great question because it certainly doesn't come from Judaism or the "Old" Testament as they call it!
