Ok, there is this girl that I hang out with sometimes, she is very pretty and all and really funny but we've been friends for a long time....like, since second grade. I love to hang out with her and stuff, but recently she been really hitting on me, and she told me she like me alot, she wants to be with me, etc etc. To me, she feels like my sister, and I dont want too hurt her. I know I have to tell her but I need a way to tell her without hurting her too bad, I know whatever I say is going to hurt, but and outside opinion would help. thanx.

Tell her that you like her a lot but as a friend. Explain to her that you both have been friends since the second grade, FRIENDS, and you would like to keep it that way. Tell her that you think of her as a sister. If you say it in a nice way, she might understand.

Be like..
"[name here], I like you a lot too, but the not the way you may think We've been friends for so long, I dont want anything to happen and make our friendship be ruined, or make things wierd or awkward between us. But I do like you, but you're like my sister, and my best friend, I dont want anything more, or anything less"
