The Mack Sennett answer is in all likelihood--video clips had (and have) a sturdy impact on common lifestyle, as while undershirt sales plummeted after Clark Gable did no longer placed on one in It befell One nighttime. i've got examine that before 1915, prostitutes have been the team properly-known for shaving. the supervisor motives women people shave are aesthetics, scent, and custom. bushy armpits on an in any different case groomed woman, fairly while she's donning something like a sleeveless ballgown, look unkempt, unsophisticated, and earthy--a greater hippy look than oftentimes wanted. in the event that they're moist with sweat, even worse. Hair additionally traps scent, so which you 're going to have greater BO while you're unshaven. And third, culturally there's a EWWW component--we are in simple terms no longer used to seeing it. Shaving the legs is completed strictly for cultured motives--hair below nylons gets all bunched up and ruins the comfortable look of the leg, and long, dark leg hair seems masculine. The aesthetics have plenty to do with attaining an phantasm of maximal youthfulness, as stated by utilising some right here. women people oftentimes desire to look clean and girlish, and surely do no longer desire to ask comparisons with an previous, bushy guy.

I don't think too many men shave there legs that I'm aware of, maybe they do it for sports. I still prefer the hairy legs on a man.

It would only be normal for sports (like wrestling perhaps) or surgery. I don't know any woman who would not think that a man with legs shaved for other reasons would be anything less than totally disgusting. If you are trying to attract women, do NOT shave your legs! Hair on a man is natural and cuddly.

It's not a new trend. But some guys who are into sports extensively shave their legs - such as swimmers & bikers - it's supose to help them to be a little bit faster. Also guys who wear wet suits - such as scubba divers, shave because the suits pull at their leg hairs and it hurts. I find men with shaved legs unattractive & unmanly, but some just do it because of their occupation or sport.

I cycle and swim and shave. Body hair looks cave-manish. One great side benefit is now when I'm on the sheets with my wife I can actually feel her soft skin against mine. Oh, sweetness!

I don't care what other guys think cus I'm not trying to attract a guy.

Another fun part of it is that women seem to have this need to feel my thigh when I'm in shorts. I give them half an hour to cut it out.

Hi, Oh No i don't think men should shave their legs, i hate it when you can tell that they have, and they have put oil on them to make them shiny. I am not saying men shouldn't use a moisturiser or a body lotion there is nothing wrong with looking after their skin,

Male competitive swimmers also shave their legs, in addition to the male cyclists. Maybe the guy you saw was obliging his wife/significant other? Its not entirely unheard of for men to shave for their women, if she prefers it or asks.

I can't see any reason other than for sports that a man could have for shaving his legs...but each to their own I suppose.
