Do you believe that your God wants you to be affluent, poor or just economically comfortable. Please answer truthfully and don't say what you think you SHOULD say. I'm curious as to what you really think.

God wants us to do what he asks of us.

That request may call for us to be rich, it may call for us to be poor. It's up to him. that's where faith comes into play. Plus, Jesus tells us that we aren't to build up our fortunes on this planet, because it will be only temporary as everything else. That's why we aren't bothered with being rich or poor. We understand that what he has given to us is for us to use in glorifying him. Our rewards are in heaven waiting on us.

Amen.

God wants us to be wealthy and successful...but what He doesn't want is the stinky bad attitude to go along with it: the haughtiness, the pride, the greed, the selfishness, etc. God tells us to be content in whatever state we are in, and if that is when we're wealthy, ok, if not, still ok. And He certainly does not want us to love money, He says in His word, that "the love of money is the root of all evil."

God will give you whatever you desire if you delight yourself in Him. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all the things that you ask will be added to you.
