I recently got this problem for my firefox browser.chrome.toolbar_style

I have uninstalled and reinstalled firefox numerous times but i have same problem. I cant see icons of websites in tabs and i cant see any images on any websites. Please help

After you uninstall it the next time, also delete the folder called Mozilla that is probably (default) located at

C:\Documents and Settings\[your user name]\Application Data\Mozilla

Then reinstall, and your problems should be solved.

Hope this could help you:

Images in Tabs problem:
****************************
1. in the Firefox address bar type:
about:config

2. A page with the browsers settings alphabetically ordered will be displayed.

3. Scroll till you see:
browser.chrome.toolbar_style

4. Double click on it.

5. Enter 2 in the dialog box and then click OK

6. Restart Firefox

Images in Sites problem:
****************************
1. Click on "Options" from the "Tools" menu.

2. Click on the "Content" tab.

3. Make sure the "load images automatically" check box is checked and if necessary check the exceptions button.

yah!! this is the great CRAP found in firefox,

its installed not in a single place, and not in single copy
so you need to find all the DEPENDENCY files after the FORMAL removal by the uninstall program

also the biggest crap is the SESSION feature in ffox2, it takes 100 to 125 mb whenevr i open ffox

it might not be firefox it could be you computer or your Internet provider. try using Internet explorer if it doesn't work there either then i dont know what to tell you you can back up all you files and reformat you computer

dunno about the first one but for the pictures one: go > tools>options >content>click on the 'load images automatically' box
