The best answer I've got from this, is that bad doesn't actually exhist (ie it exhists only in the mind of humans.)
Thanks to Rene B for that one. makes the most sense.

But why would God allow bad to exhist in our minds or otherwise.
I know to build character, but if he truly has ultimate power, can he not build character another way?
This is not a coplaint against God by the way, it is a genuine question.

God does not exist

There is an equal amount of good & bad -- they totals the whole - things vasalitae with in the whole and we assign values as to good or bad. The nature of things are not free will but the flow of choices and the decission that happen whether by choice or weighted outcome. What exist is because there is no other choice - we only see choice on future happenings - we can't undue the past

Oh, thank you for genuine questions!

Unfortunately, or fortunately, as the case may be...Evil(bad)(SIN - which is separation from God) is real and it does actually exist - and not just in our minds.

It's actually the other way around....think about it...our minds make justifications for all sorts of irrational and "bad" behavior -from the time we are toddlers. That means we make reason to fit circumstances.
It is more human nature to "disqualify" bad than create it. Even in our minds.

Although you are right in that God wants to build character in us, how would you best propose He do that without any "opposition"? How can you overcome challenges if there are no challenges to be had? How could one garner strength from facing no adversity? How could you know the value of being humble if you didn't have to grapple with pride?

Everything (even "bad"/evil/sin) was created for the Glory of God. Ecclesiastes explains that there is a season for everything...good/bad...reap/sow...sorrow/joy.... And the Word also expresses that some(people) were even created for punishment.

The Word also tells us that all the heavens rejoice when one sinner (one who has separated from God) repents (turns away from sin/bad/evil and tries to follow God's ways/will).

Can you imagine a world where there was no hope of anyone starting over, changing their ways, turning from sin?

Hope this helps/makes sense. I'm praying for you right...now!

Are babys born with sin or bad thoughts? or 2 year olds? 8 year olds?

We learn of sin as we become accountable.
Children are not born with sin and do not have bad thoughts usually till they are older depending on what there inviorment is like.

Your answer to the ?

God allows bad or Satan to have reign on this earth so we can

learn and gain experiance that we could not in the premortal sate.

To experiance evil and make are choice as to what side of the fence or what level we want to be on.

We are not bad by nature it is the world and influence that we incounter and the decisions that we make that define are character.

God did not give us bad, but with there being true love and right there has to be an opposite to make those be legitimate. What would love mean if there was not other possibility. What would doing right mean if there was no possibility to do wrong.

Nothing God gives us is "bad", most of the "bad" we see, i.e. murder, infant death, and things of that nature are products of mans free will. If the "bad" was not caused by man than God has a purpose for it. Therefor, it cannot be "bad"

Hi,
I promise it is genuine that He allows us free will.
Without bad how would we know good?
God bless us all...
