i haven't got the courage to approach girls i like because im quite shy and because of this i haven't had a girlfriend in quite some time. The only girls i've eva been with have approached me first and cause of this i find it hard to even go and talk to a girl. i mean whats the best thing to do?

Try joining clubs or sports teams (boys + girls involved) that you are really interested in. Then you can naturally meet new people and you can talk about your common interests. This should be much easier than approaching random ladies and making a relationship out of thin air.

I wouldn't go to clubs to meet women if you're looking for a relationship. I would take some night classes and then you'll learn a new skill and meet some new people also. Even if you're not interested in any of the females there you might make some new guy friends and then socialise with them. They'll have female friends, sisters, cousins, workmates, etc. Good luck!

Do this, no lie:
Talk to 10 girls a day. No matter what they say, good, bad or indifferent. Do not care if they say anything bad, just say okay, well good luck to you, and move on.
Do this a month.
Then you will have talked to 300 girls. It's a numbers game. All it takes is practice, practice.
Rejection doesn't matter to the guy that doesn't care. And with a shield and armor around his feelings, the bold knight goes off to slay dragons by day, and comfort damsels by night.

i know you have the courage, probably you just want a serious one to the right one. you are not alone in this world there are lots of men out there just waiting for the right time. it's good to be cautious in relationship especially if you are a true type of man not the playful one. my husband is a bit picky too, it takes a test on his nerves to approach a woman or if a woman's the one who'll approach him, and what he did he tried to hang out on the net, by doing a friendly chatt on the net until we meet and developed love through our daily emails and phone calls and now we are happy in love and married for 4 yrs with 1 son. why don't you try doing this who know's you'll be practice asking women and who knows your fate is just on the other side of the world. just simply be yourself, don't worry eventhough it's now 2007 there are still women left in this world who's looking for a man like you. goodluck!

um well dont expect a girl 2 come up 2 u all the time coz they wont so pluck up the courage and strike up a convo, im a girl by the way i know these things.

The only reason you may be like that because you may been around lot of boys when you were young and it may have affect your communicating with girls .What I really say that you need to find yourself around a lot of girls see if you like the attention if you don't like it .You Just Need to spend time to yourself until you get to the point that you know who you really are.instead of asking other who you are.

Just go for it, what have you got to lose, they can only say no, if a girl can ask you out then you can ask a girl out.
I used to be really shy and still am a bit, but trust me lifes too short, so just give it a go.

Take a chance.
On the laws of average some approaches will work out.
Some won't but they will make you stronger.
Important to learn how to deal with rejection.
But the one's who say yes will make up for it!

i met my boyfriend on a phone chat...i met a few before him and it wasn´t exactly a great success...but i just put it down to experience and eventually met my boyfriend...we´ve been together for 4 years. He had your problem too, shy, etc. I´m more open but you could give the chats a try, got nothing to lose. and it was a friendship chat...not a love chat
