Cold water. It's a non-permanent die in an alcohol solvent, it's not really paint, as such. In my experience it just washes right off, we cleaned up between rounds with a jug of cold water and a roll of kitchen towels. The only permanent damage was that the alcohol lossened the die in cheap t-shirts and those were left with white spots. I'm pretty sure your dog is colorfast ;-)
When the dog is clean report the shooter to the SPCA and the local cops. If it was you then you have very good reason to think you are a low-life.
On the other hand, if your dog has been making a nuisance of itself on other people's property then you should be thankful is was a paintball and not a 308!

First you murder whoever shot the poor dog, then you wash the dog with shampoo and water. Paintballs have water based paint in them, which come out with just water.

Who shot the dog? Whomever shot the dog, be it you, or someone else, should take Doggie to a groomer and have his fur trimmed and he should get a bath. I don't think you should try to do this yourself. Why would anyone want to shoot a dog with a paint gun?

Soap and water, paintball paint washers right off. I get hit in the head or face and water gets it off.

Just water. Paintballs actually have a bit of detergeant added into them. If it was hard to remove, my paintball clothes would be stained as he**.

water and a mild soap if need be. for regular oil based paints you can use vegitable oil to loosen it up it will also work on waterbased but you don't really need it unless its allready been set a while.
