Ive always been allergic to all kinds of metal. My mom said that when i was a kid, the snap buttons on my Osh Kosh pants would break me out.
Even now i cant wear cheap jewelry, and even some gold breaks me out. The only metal that doesn't irritate my skin is sterling silver.
There isnt a cure if you are allergically reacting to the metal, but there is one thing that helps. I usually paint my jewelry with a couple coats of clear finernail polish, and then before wearing it i might rub some hydrocortisone lotion, or anti itch creme.
Its crazy! I never knew anybody else was allergic to metal.

My daughter is allergic to metals too, I have to cover the snaps on her pants with a felt square, I also have to get her jewelery that contains no nickle that seems to be the worst one.

sadly you can't cure it...but you can control it by not wearing fake jewelry...i'm actually allergic to gold so i wear silver or platinum..you just wear the oppisite of what you're allergic to or you're gonna have to stock up on rash cream for the next break out.
