If so, I don't think I want to put mine in the sharpener anymore

Well,lets investigate.. Pencils are made from trees and when you hurt a tree somtimes they DIE! So when you sharpen your pencil you are infact HURTING it! So stop the pencil abuse before social services get involved!

No, I don't think they have any feelings. It's good for them to be put in the sharpener!

YES!!!!!! of course pencils have feelings!!! How would you feel getting your point sharpened!!! It would hurt!!!! think about it!!!!(just kidding pencils don't have feelings)

Omg, lol. No I don't think that they have any feelings whatsoever because they don't have brains. Don't worry it's okay to put it in the sharpener.

Omigosh!!!!!! Never ever! Sharpen pencils it just boosts there egos! Stupid pencils! They think they can control is with Led Poisoning and cause us stress when they snap!!!!!!! -.- GRRRRRRRRRR Vv_vV Sorry i need a time out!

Of course they do! The feel smooth when new, and awfully pointy at one tip and rubbery and the other. Eventually they feel dull and bumpy (if you chew on them, which seems rather crueller to me, as sharpening benifits them) and sharp on the other end from when you use the eraser [;

Yes, they do. Ask the person feeling the point of a pencil. Do you think a tree knows when it is being cut down?

Well trees did have feelings, but when we killed it and made them into pencils, their feelings have died too. So, no I do not think they feel pain when sharpened.

Yes, I think pencils have personalities. They are sharp and dull, erasured and bald. chewed on, stubby. Yeah, don't sharpen them.
