We broke up recently, he still calls me, says there is something he feels guilty about...he told me since we've broken up he slept with another girl...I told him it didn't matter since we were broken up and that his business is his own...why would he tell me this...? Him knowing that it would hurt me...? There are just things you don't say...

he is trying to tell you he still has feelings for you and even thow he is with other girls he thinks of you.. i honestly dont think he slept with anyone.. its a common lie.. he doesnt mean to hurt you either.. he is just realy bad at tell you how he feels.. all he means is that he wants yo back.. and he was hopeing that you would say something similar so that possible he can work that into you guys going back out.
is sounds like he is no good for you anyways. but that is why he said that. goodluck

He possibly feels some guilt because he hasn't completley let go of his attraction to you. Or he's playing games with you in an attempt to get even perhaps. What is your gut feeling? And was your break up with him amiccable or ugly? I agree with the person who said don't take his calls anymore, or if you do, let him have it and tell him off.

well to me it sounds like it could be one of two things.
a. he could just feel really bad about everything and thought you deserve the respect to know that he did something with another girl
or
b. he's trying to make you jealous and hoped that telling you that was going to make you jealous
