If I am loved for something I am not, then the love is not real. I would rather be the recipient of genuine love.
If someone hates me for who I am, then I an at least control the situation be either demonstrating that I am not worthy of their hate or removing them from my life. And I would at least know the know and where the other person stood.

Nice question. I tell you I use to try to be loved for who I wasnt and it didnt work. People catch on its to much work. I just rather be hated for who I am. I love me and it took a while to figure this out and if you dont like me then too bad..

I'd much rather be hated for who I am. I know from experience that people not liking you really ain't that bad, unless I have a reason to care about what they think. Plus, putting on false personas is just too much work.

I'd rather be hated for who I am. I don't need others approval, as long as I know who I am...and I'm always true to that.

First of all nobody's blaming you for asking this question. To our subject now, I would prefer being hated for being myself than being loved for being pretending someone i'm not. Also i think that if someone pretends that he is someone that he really isn't
he would feel bad about his self

I would rather be hated for who I am because at least I would be true to myself even if others don't like it.

I'm already hated for who I am, and I really don't give a s***. Who cares what other people think. We don't need to seek no stinkin' approval from people more ignorant than me.

It's more suited for Psychology or Philosophy than Singles & Dating.
I am who I am...people can love it or hate it.
