Yes, but they probably think otherwise deep within themselves.
People who are that ignorant have to live with a certain amount of silent doubt.
Nice question!

Speaking as a Christian, I can say it's my guess that 95% of non-believers will contradict or dismiss the view of a Christian simply because we take The Lord, Our Father God at His Word.
With regard to the tomb, it was originally found over 20 years ago, during a time when religion and morals played a much more positive roll in our society. Were it really the tomb of Jesus, I doubt it would have remained a "secret" for all those years. Hardly any event in His life was without controversy or went un-noticed.
Besides that - it wasn't the tomb that was so special. It had no special powers. It was what happened inside the tomb and afterward that was significant.

I think it was about that high. The xians i know watched to look unbiased but had their minds made up before it started. Why do you think it was buried as a hoax 26 years ago?
and suzanne the only Atheists I have seen on here saying such things are pulling your chain. The only serious statements I have seen from Atheists on this issue is a reasonable conclusion to the evidence. It could be but there is not enough evidence to come to a curtain conclusion. Let's test some more. All the names in that tomb are common names but that cluster is definitely interesting.

I'd say it's higher than 95%... even one's I know who are rational about, well, most everything else, completely ignored this. Some even viewed it as an attack on Christianity... odd enough, they don't view those types of things as attacks on other Religions. *shrug*
Yes, I think the majority make their decisions based on labels or what claims are made and don't bother with looking deeper into the person (or book) that is making the claim.

Since the airing of that program, they have discovered that it is not the tomb of Jesus and was in fact a totally different family. The name Jesus was a common name, as was Joseph, Mary, Judas and a host of other names. I for one would not want them to find it, if it did exsist. They would clone them and demand a command performance! When they did not get the desired results, they would still say I told you so.

I think most people dismiss new possibilities out of hand until there is enough evidence to make them take notice.
I would guess 60% Some of them may have considered it out of fear. And fortunately, there are SOME reasonable Christians out there.

I think you're wrong. I'm a Christian, yet I was open-minded and secure enough to read what was written about this "Jesus tomb."
Frankly, what astounds me are the huge numbers of atheists who STILL are writing "I told you so -- Jesus wasn't God 'cause they found His bones!" In this instance, I think atheists (who proclaim themselves as the only ones who view things critically) should hang their heads in shame.

I think it was at least that high. And I agree that they make many decisions that way. Not all Christians, but the fundies do.
