Do you mean the thick noodles made from rice in a red spicy sauce? IE. Duk Boki

yes.. the rice always comes with every dish because a korean meal usually consists of rice and banchan (little side dishes) and then some main thing that you order (i.e galbi, a very popular type of BBQ meat) i know that bibimbap is extremely popular with americans.. this is a mixture of rice and different things with a somewhat spicy sauce. i was surprised to find that americans liked this.. but galbi, bulgogi, and bibimbap are most popular...

What's a "rice stick"?

If you want rice, it's complementary with most dishes, and even if it isn't, you could just ask for some, usually free of charge.

She's referring to Ddeok (떡), there's Ddeokguk(떡국) and DeokBokki(떡볶이) that I'm aware of but you can get it with Ramen(라면) and other meals just let em know you demand Ddeok!

I like it too.

you can order the white rice stick separately... it's called KIM BAP
