External (Physical) appearance will hook the man.

It is both, if a girl has an OK body but she has a really nice attitude that can make a man think that 1 she is sexy or if she can be the girl you walk by and she looks ok but once you meet her and get to know a nice attitude is sexy. You can have a sexy body but having a bad attitude ruins it. Sexiness is internal and external.

More internal than external. My two favorites are intelligence and a sense of humor. Be able to have an intelligent conversation and laught at movies like Team America: World Police and Dumb and Dumber. Oh and have a real woman's body, not the stick figure look that seems so popular these days.

Honestly, a woman with a beautiful external will attract me and if she has a kind, beautiful internal, that'll definitely keep me.
On the other-hand beautiful outwardly but, not inwardly, we won't last very long. I believe that's how it is with most people.
To me a woman that is sexy both internal and external is a keeper and I'm a lucky man to have one.

Well, you sort of answered your own question when you asked about "sexiness IN women".
I've known girls who looked sexy but had shitty personalities and I didn't think of them as sexy. Maybe some guys are into the abuse though.
I think sexiness is a holistic term. It covers the synergistic effect of seeing somene and getting to know them. So it's both.
