If I loved him, yes...I wouldn't rely on him to support our family...I would maintain a job as well so we can support ourselves...there is nothing wrong with that and if need be, you can always live in a "rent-a-house" with another family for split in the rent and family support!

if she loves you, she will marry you...money is so temporary...love is forever

What the hell is wrong with $50,000 a year? If the woman works and makes just $30K or so, they can have a pretty nice life.

Not to mention that anyone who marries someone solely based on money is a piece of s h i t gold digger anyway!

I married one who made less and now makes more than 50,000. So yes I guess I would.
One with more than 50,000 could end up making less or dying and leaving me nothing...

Why not? That's by far not a fortune, but it's a lot more than many people make.

Both the guy's I married (years ago) made far less than that...but we both worked and we got by.

I'd be thrilled if my hubby could make that, (our family of four lives on 28,000$ until I can go back to work)) but income is the least important aspect of choosing a mate.

If he was honest, loving, trustworthy, and fun to be with. 50k a year isn't great but isn't horrible either. Money should not determine whether you marry someone or not.

If I loved him absolutely. If some women think its not enough perhaps then they should be the bread winners in the home.

Well, I wouldn't marry for money but I do expect my spouse to make a decent living...$50k is pretty good...depending on where you live.
