My computer is Microsoft XP 2001. I have to have Microsoft XP 2003 or newer to download Publisher 2007. Where can I get another version of Publisher that would work with my computer?

It is so important that I figure this out very soon. I am putting together my own vitamin line (formulated my own products), and I need to design my logo for the bottles. I want my next comuter to be a Mac, but I'm still researching that before I buy a new one. I'm just really tired of Microsoft's flawed software and want a change.

Thank you so much for all your help. The manufacturer needs my logo soon to meet the deadline. And I appreciate everything you could do to help.

Try scribus, it is free and open source:

Also, here are two free vector drawing programs:

Alternate idea: Download OpenOffice (it's free) and see if its Draw application does what you need. It's a 90+ meg download, so you need a high-speed connection or LOTS of time. Good luck!!
