I have a 2004 Rav4 - drove it off the lot with 11 miles on it - and it now has about 31k - I absolutely love it! Drives & handles great.. A little bumpy - like other suv's, BUT compared to a Chevy Blazer - the Rav4 isn't nearly as bumpy - a bit smoother. It doesn't "jump" over bumps on turns, and some slide/traction (but very little) in snow. (seeing that i live in the Chicago area) Also has great view-ability - the windshield gives a lot to view, and the same with the blind-spots!. I had a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am with terrible view with the blind spots. And the Blazer didn't have as "open" of blind spots as the Rav4 does.
Plus - the Rav4 is FUN to drive!!!
Its a DEFINITE buy!!

I don't own one but I've been looking for a new truck and I can tell you Toyota vehicles have a high resale value.
