Anyone know of a good brand of sport watches. I want one that will show me how far I've ran.

the only way to know how far you've run is to get one with a GPS on it. I have the Timex Speed+Distance system. You can get one on Amazon for under $100. The watch you can wear around every day, but to know your distance you have to wear a GPS on your arm also - its about the size of an iPod.

you will need one with GPS and most of those are not small and cute. I use a Garmin Forerunner. and you don't need the Pod that the Timex and other watches have. You can also get the Nike Plus Kit for your IPOD if you have one it tells you how far you have gone and the have an attachment called a lace lid at www.lacelid.com that you can attached the Nike Kit to your shoe so you don't have to buy the Nike's shoes that it fits in. If all those watches are to big for your taste you can map your course out on line a www.runthere.com
google gps watches maybe you will find something that will suit your needs
