Paint 3 walls and the ceiling white (or off white, cream). Paint an accent wall pink. Paint all the trim in the blue/purple tones. This will give you the colors without overdoing it. Have fun!

You could try sponge painting if she wants all three colors blended on the walls. Otherwise, I would go with random curving sections (kind of 1970's flower power).
