I know it's Korean made. I'm getting it thru a Japanese export co. and it's Japanese used. Just asking if it's a good buy.

Its better than that Rav4 you asked about, you should look at a Honda CR-V

Firstly Hyundai is korean.

I have driven a SantaFe for about 400,000 kilometers till the transfer case decided to give up... I understand the Tucson runs a similar drive train.

Currently I own a Hyundai Terracan 2.9CRDI Turbo Diesel. So far no complaints drove about 700 kilometers on a tank of diesel. Great fuel economy

Regards

Look for a dealership loaner car on a site like Autotrader. I bought a Sante Fe that was one year old with 7,000 miles on it. Because it was a dealer owned car it retained the full factory warranty and it was about 17k out the door.

Hyundai's are Korean made. Not Japanese.

They have had good reviews and I know a real estate agent that loves here. It drives well. But there aren't very safe in crash. She also hit another car in a parking lot and caused a lot of damage to hers.

One good place to look: autos.yahoo.com
Not that I'm trying tp promote yahoo, but it really is an excellent site for car browsing.

Beware with cheap imports, because the Japs do not tow anything with their cars they are not made as strong as ones made for US type markets - not as good in accidents either I read this in a book from New Zealand about import cars
