Since art cannot fully convey religious experience, could it and should it convey hatred of God instead?

There is and art, the art of loving God, but you have to practice it, other wise you can't experience it.
Hate is a delusion born from enviousness.
You cannot convey God because your forgetfulness about your constitutional eternal position as being part and parcel of God. This forgetfulness of your constitutional position is due to anger or envy.

I think art can fully covey a religious experience, in a visual sense. The visuals can lead to the observer becoming emotional and closer to knowing what the artist meant. Should it convey hatred instead, No! What a more boring world art would be if all art portrayed hatred and nothing else.

Why should it do the opposite of something that it can not fully express? That's like saying I can not be in the Olympics therefore I should be grossly overweight.

Art should express what the artist is trying to express, whether it is a religious zeal or hate. I'm not a big fan of hate in any form though, as hate begets hate and generally doesn't help anything.

Art despising it's own author? In the world we live in, this would not surprise me at all. I think the perfect picture would be that of a newborn, all chopped up in pieces laying on a surgical table. This would be the perfect artistic expression of contempt towards God...

Anyone who hates the creator of life.... should be sentences to thirty days in the electric chair but that's my opinion. If you hate GOD then this country allows you to express that any way you like ....just keep it to yourself.

Even if a god were real, hating it would be meaningless. If you want someone to blame for the emptiness in your own heart, then blame yourself.
