hi, in South Wales the forensic vans are mostly plain white, there are one or two that have the police logo on the side of the van, but they do not have reflective strips or lights etc.

Each different Police Force has different livery or markings. Some are not marked at all and some are marked, some look like any other local Police van and others are marked telling you what they are. Each Chief Constable makes his own rules.

Rather unhelpfully to you It changes from force to force. In London they're white with the Met logo on the side, in Essex they're fully marked up vans, other places have plain vans.

technically forensic vehicles should not have any markings unless they will be maned by police officers (home office emergency vehicles markings regulations) but some forces use both civillian and police officers for forensic duties and do allow marked vehicles
