I've been missing a girl for 11 months. I hadn't been bugging her since she didn't want to talk to me anymore. We said hi occasionally, I thought things would be cool between us. I tried to talk to her. I said Hey how are you? She said nothing. I tried to talk about how she was helping with something (she was inactive at the moment). Still nothing. I told her I know we haven't talked in the longest time (I liked her, then fell in love with her, but she never liked me back), but I only wanted us to be FRIENDS again. I couldn't bring myself to say I missed her because it seemed like she wasn't hearing me. She kept her back turned towards me, unlike when I saw her sneak so many glances at me this past year. She texted on her phone. She never even looked at me, never said a word. I wanted to say what I felt about her, but all my feelings about her besides "I love you" wouldn't come up. I wanted to say I love you. I just said "ok, I get the point, you don't have to say anything else.

I guess I'll just see you around." That was the only time I tried to talk to her. She talked to everyone in the hall but me. I left her. I'm wondering what should I do for her birthday this week? After that, I'm forgetting all about her because I see that she'll never care for me the way I do for her.
I'll ask this in the form of a poll. Should I-
#1-Just say happy birthday to her (she's turning 17 and I'm 17)
#2-Completely ignore her
If I completely ignored her (which she did to me this year on my birthday and she knew it was my birthday) wouldn't that just be being immature or doing evil for evil? Even though I think that's what I have to do.
If I at least say happy birthday, then am I being the bigger person, showing that I'm still going to treat her right no matter how she treats me (although I'M ALREADY PAYING HER NO ATTENTION) ?

We had a friendship that lasted 4 months and I care about her alot, enough to WANT to get her something just because (as well as to let her go) but I'm just not going to. Also today I thought and I realized that in the last month of us talking, when she got angry at me, I had not done A THING to her. I was changing what she said I was doing wrong. Also, I had a girlfriend during the time we weren't talking but she was really crazy so we didn't last long.

Seems to me that this girl has unresolved issues on whether she wants you or not. She has kept you dangling by all the glances she gives you and getting mad when you dont stay on her leash. Your best bet IMO would be to say happy birthday and then leave completely. You dont need the leash.

i think u should just go n say happy birthday....thats all....ior if u really want to do something get her a sweet card but nothing more than that..u still dont know if she wants you or not so a card will be a safe n neutral option..that way u wont come on too strong and at the same time she'l know u didnt forget her birthday

For her birthday you should go over there and tell her that u still have feelings for her. Maybe she still has feelings for u but u never know.
