as pigs and dogs by Muslims? Is this in the Koran or are they just being insulting? Also, whats with the whole "do not take Jews and Christians as friends" deal? Most of us are pretty nice.

I don't know whether the Quran says it or not....I've heard both claims....however, it is a position regularly posited in Mosques and schools all around the muslim world and in the muslim press.

They are just being snobby like some Christians still- are. It's in the Koran to not hang out with "Infidels" which I think is pretty stupid. I've never had this problem though, most muslims that I know are nice people.

The Old Testament and the New Testament make similar statements.

Jesus refers to Samaritans as 'Dogs' and Paul forbids believers to dine with unbelievers.

The Old Testament leans more toward the 'Death To The Infidels!" mentality of the Koran.

Where does it say 'pigs and dogs' anywhere in the Qur'an?

And 'do not take Jews and Christians as (intimate)friends' signifies the '(s)he's like my sister/brother' kind of friendship. I have quite a number of Christian friends.

all of them worship God. Jews sense in purely God. Christians sense Jesus is the Son of God. Muslims sense Muhammed grew to become into as quickly as the prophet of God, a similar skill they sense Jesus grew to become into as quickly as a prophet of God. BTW, Allah attitude God. this is purely an extra language.
