Epiphany is the celebration of when the Magi (kings) arrived to pay homage to Jesus. It is celebrated on January 6th...12 days after Christmas.

Lent begins on Ash Wednesday each year and ends on the Wednesday before Maundy Thursday.

Epiphany is the Feast of the Manifestation of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles - seen from Scripture as being the arrival of the Magi to bring gifts to the Christ Child.

Celebrated because it shows how Jesus is not just the Jewish Messiah - His gospel is available to all the world.

Lent begins on Ash Wednesday for the Western Church
