I don't see that I jumped to any kind of conclusion. I wasn't attempting to be scientific. It was just a fun little poll. It is obvious that you misread my "assumptions" because you perceived my opinions incorrectly. I agreed with YOUR answers to #1 and #2!

Colleges are pretty expensive these days and everyone wants to get in to them, but there definately are lots of cod swimming around and finding themselves on our diner plates. I'm going to say the cod. Fish have been around longer than college.

1. Yes, by definition the universe and therefore "nature" had to be created by something supernatural. It is of course possible that "the universe" and the natural laws were created by a supernatural force and the earth was a natural result of that specific earlier supernatural event. (The better question is, has there been any supernatural intervention since the beginning of "nature"? I am not sure. Science doesn't answer that question because it assumes everything has a natural cause. Religion, or at least Christianity appears to say yes but it is not that clear due to the relationship of the Christian God to time.)
2. Yes and No.
In the broadest definition evolution is the dying out of species which could not survive in the environment, that has clearly happened.
In the narrow sense of naturally occurring chemicals randomly coming together to form a cell or bacterium and that single cell randomly mutating and propagating to form the various species, No. It is mathematically impossible in the time available. Was that outside intervention? It depends. It certainly had to be something beyond the "nature" allowed by science. I don't think there is enough evidence that the "something beyond" was the god of any religion.
I think finding out "who will win" requires a different kind of observation. In math we use hypothesis testing, that is, if I assume thus and so then observe if the data disprove that assumption at some reasonably high level of certainty. I think that is the approach to determine who will win. I have never gotten around to formulating the problem myself.

1.) There is no such thing as "supernatural intervention."
2.) All life on earth evolved and is continuing to evolve.
3.) I am a retired engineer with an MS.
Knowledge wins every time because God is imaginary.
Before you jump to the conclusion that most people agree with you, try posting this same question in one of the science/engineering forums. Your little survey is far from scientific, since you're preaching to the converted here......

1. supernatural sounds like scifi or fake:
1. cont.d Yes there is a god and he created everything the alpha and the omega or time space the beginning an dthe end all at once.
2. Yes life forms evolved to better suit man you'll notice there are no 50 ft lizards around to say eat or kill man.
3. College grad with 16 years of independant studies, what I like is when I see people making fun of god and then when I see them sometime down the road and they are ruined. They still do not believe and the life has gotten steadly worse.
And they will still make fun of me for believing I just laugh at them now, and yeah pray but it is to funny to believe when it happens.

The universe was created in the Big Bang. God caused the Big Bang and designed the chemistry needed for life. This is called "Intelligent design"
Life evolved on earth per Gods design. This is supported in Genisis. "Let the earth bring forth the creatures of the sea"

Mundane education has nothing to do with spiritual subject.
God says:
"I am seated in everyone's heart, and from Me come remembrance, knowledge and forgetfulness."
"I am the source of eveything."
" There is no knowledge superior to Me".
"This knowledge is the king of education, the most secret of all secrets. It is the purest knowledge, and because it gives direct perception of the self by realization, it is the perfection of religion."
