IRS says someone reported income for me, but i have never worked fro the company and dont even know who they are. what can i do to dispute this.

Call them at the number on the letter.

The IRS does everything by Social Security Number.

Someone is either using your number or some employer transposed a couple of numbers on one of their employees.

Uh-oh, if it's not just a mistake, then it's possible you are the victim of identity theft.

Call the IRS immediately. They'll ask you to prove that you didn't work for this company.
