A friend of mine asked me that if he bought a camera that doesn't use AA batteries, does he have to take camera to camera store to put fresh set of batteries in when old set goes dead. I never thought about that, but is this true? Can this be done without store putting it in for you?

normally digital camera take two type of battery one is the ordinary AA or AAA battery another type is the lithium battery . the lithium one which is like handphone type u can take out urself or change a fresh one if the battery dead already !

You can always change it yourself. Most cameras now use lithium ion batteries that look like mini cell phone batteries. They are rechargeable.

most digital camera use a rechargeable battery, and usually include a AC adaptor to recharge the battery while its inside the camera.
