It all depends on the relationship you have with him... if you feel it's ok, then go ahead.
You may want to start by telling him how happy he makes you feel or how happy you are when he is around.
That would sound less scary for a man to hear..

you've known him for a while so thats a plus. Has he said it to you? What I did one time was I told my boyfriend at the time that I was going to tell him something and if he didn't feel the same way that he shouldn't say anything back. Then I just said "I love you" Unfortunately he didn't say anything back right away but about 2 weeks later he did. You don't want him to say it if he doesn't feel it. But if he does then good. The point is, I don't think that its too soon if your heart feels it.

I'm always the one to say it first and it's usually after a month or two of dating exclusively. The two times that I've said it, I've really meant it and I knew that they loved me too. I just knew they felt the same way and that it wasn't too much of a stretch for me to say it. I also trusted them a lot and knew that even if they weren't ready to say it or whatever, I wasn't going to get burned by it. Somehow it would be okay. In another case, I felt that way about him, but my instincts told me that he really liked me, but he wasn't in love with ne. Sure enough I was right and I was glad I listened to my instincts.
Just follow your heart. There's no reason to hold back at this point if you really want to express your feelings and you really trust him. Trust your gut!

As soon as you feel ready to say those three words. Dont say it because you think thats what he wants to hear, say it because you mean it.
If thats within 3 weeks then thats just the way it is, if it takes a little longer then so be it.

I would wait a little while. Usually I like the guy to say if first but up to you. Start dropping hints and see how he reacts to it. If he starts to act weird, then I would say he is not ready for the "L" word. Don't wait forever though, you gotta let him know eventually.

Give it some more time to where you know he feels the same or close to it. He probably does now but dont know how to say it. It'll come out when its right no need to rush that.

i am having the same problem. i would say, dont drop it just yet. those three words, can make it or break it. and you dont want to take that chance just yet.
tell him that you REALLY like him. let him know that you really care. and that should help get things right.
however, if the moment is right, just say it. and i am sure that you know what i mean

its never to soon, its if you REALLY love him, you may think you do, but you may actuly not. Look deep into your mind, do you really see yourself with him when you get older? If so then say it, just dont let it become a habit to say it so you both feel reashured.

It's never too soon if the feelings are real. If they are real, and he feels the same it'll be great. If he doesn't he wasn't meant for you. You'll just know when it's time.
