This is a lady I have just recently become acquainted with. I do not know her granddaughter at all. She is very excited that she will soon have twin great granddaughters. I want to give her something to let her know how happy I am for her. I would like the gift for her, rather than the babies or the granddaughter. Any suggestions.

Check out this site scrappin' twins on cafe press. They have grandma and great-grandma of twins shirts. http://www.cafepress.com/scrappintwins/1377802
also a special picture frame might be nice.

Go to one of those "Discount Stores" that have quality clothing and the like, and get her grandaughter's double everything, like two cute little dresses, and two binky's, and two or four of those cloth wraps they have to wear when they first come home from the hospitol, in pretty pink color's.. Or get her, some baby bottles, in pink rim's, or wipes' diaper's are really helpful, for a woman having twins, any sizes will do, because these babies will eventually be wearing all the sizes, so any size is fine... or get her & her daughter a "congratulation's card's!!" And some wipes, and diapers.. And this would be a very thoughtful thing for you to do, being that she's a new friend probably not expecting you to do anything, being that you are a new friend.... So surprise her, and she will just love your thoughtful kindness, of giving.. This is very thoughtful of you, to do this.. Smile!!!

Get her a great double photo frame... My grandma & grandpa were very happy to have a frame that they could proudly display pictures of my twin daughters. Another idea is a pretty photo album (small) that she could put a few of her favourite snapshots of the twins in... my in-laws carry their album everywhere they go.
Best wishes to your friend!

How about some Tylenol or some earplugs?

Just kidding, of course! How wonderful for your friend, and how very thoughtful of you to think of her. Perhaps you could something for her to keep exclusively at her house for when the babies visit. Or, get her a gift card for a baby shop so that she can get something for them from her.

Check cafe press for great shirts-I have gotten items for my son's Nana and Pop-Pop with them and liked the items. They have loads of special items and things for family members of twins. How nice of you to think of her-grands get just as excited about little ones as the parents!

Oh my gosh, there's this site called cafepress. They have awesome t-shirts. They have one shirt that says "mom of the twincesses" or something like that. I'm positive they have one that says grandma too.
