I don't know what to do, I am surrounded by the number 10. It's everywhere;
We use 10% or our brains.
You have to go 10 yards to get a first down.
David Letterman has a Top Ten List.
I have ten fingers and ten toes.
When two teams are playing basketball, there are 10 people on the court.
Yikes, I looked on the floor and there was a dime laying there.
This surely has to mean something. It must mean there is some entity out there making all this happen.
I know it's a waste of five point, but today is Monday, and it is one of those days.
...but Monday is spelled with 6 letters. In four days, it will be the weekend, and if you add four to six, whoa, you guessed it, you get 10!!!

There are some funny answers out there. But, you have to wait 4 hours to pick a best answer.
But wait, 4 hours is 240 minutes. There are 24 hours in a day. 240 divided by 24 is, well wouldn't you know it, 10!!

Yeah! Or what about the number 1? How crazy is that number? It's everywhere! I mean, I'm one. You're one. One is in your number ten. Every number is divisible by one. I always order one enchilada at the Mexican restaurant. I can only do one thing at a time.
It's crazy!

Here's a few changes to your list to make it more accurate:
It is evident through being on Y! Answers, that people use far less than 10% of their brains (in general).
You technically have to go JUST past 10 yards to get a first down.
The dominant genome is for 12 fingers (6 on each hand), but has almost completely fazed out of human DNA.
Counting the referees, there are 12 people on the basketball court

Well the 10% of the brain thing is simply not true. Basketball, Letterman's list and the number of yards for a first down are all probably influenced by the fact that our numeric system is in base ten, which itself is probably influenced by the fact that we have ten fingers and toes.

The most important thing to remember and what comes to mind when I read this is, I believe you wrote this as a sign for me, funny or not, that's the way God works. "The Ten Commandments", I personally want to strive to not ever break not even one of them for the rest of my days on Planet School. A most personal thanks to you sir. You are funny as well. I know what you were really implying, I will not be seeing the movie until it comes to HBO. You are really funny, thanks again.
God bless us all...

Your hilarious. People totally get caught up in the numbers thing don't they for me its 7. Everything in my life has revolved around seven and if not I could manipulate it to. Its perception and we can change that with a little tweaking here and there.
