When I worked K9 I actually Busted someone for Pot Brownies. The truth is that the Drug sniffing dog is trained JUST for that and honed, they can pinpoint any amount, in any food you want to mention any brand r breed of marijauna or any other drug... the noses are so refined in scenting that it takes a little residue or remnant for them to catch on to you....
The Fun was always going into Highschool and sniffing lockers and students....

Yes, a drug dog would be able to pick up pot brownies.

It depends on the dog and what drug he is trained to detect. Drug dogs are not trained to pick up all drugs but one specifically. So a dog trained for Meth wouldn't be able to pick up on the pot brownies, but a dog trained for pot most definitely would.

Actually on border security a dog picked up dope, in baggies, in sealed tin cans, in a mail package!!!

It depends on how sensitive the dogs nose is and how much pot is in the brownies .....

Yup, they can easily smell a tiny bit of weed in anything, even a tiny trace of it on your hand.
