I never made a late payment while in credit counseling and it is all reported late.I was never late before I entered either. Is this legal and is there any way to have it removed?

Call them up and tell them you were never late and they need to take these late payments off your report. After all, you didn't do anything wrong. If they won't help you, get mad and go above their heads. If that doesn't work, ask for their address so your lawyer can contact them. Seriously, it worked for me, and I was partially at fault! And I didn't even have a lawyer!!

Good luck :o)

"Credit counseling agency are filled with experts, to help you get out of debt. These agencies have programs which helps to solve the problems.

Debt management programs helps you to prepare a budget which help you to tackle the situation. You make an agreement with the agency to start the process of clearing your debts completely. The counseling agency then negotiates with your lenders, and fix a lower monthly payment.

Yes a little dirty secret that sometimes pops up with those types of companies.. they get the credit companies to agree not to hound you or reduce your interest rate but the payment arrangements sometime do not keep you current with those companies.. call them and ask whats the problem..
