I'm 27 so I feel a little old for asking this but I guess you never grow out of crushes. I met someone this year that I really like and I just want to know if I should tell him that I'm starting to have feelings for him. We've gone out a few times and always have fun, he calls every couple days and we can talk for hours. Despite my efforts, and telling myself that I don't want a boyfriend or any kind of relationship I can't stop thinking about him. I don't want to scare him away, I could use a male perspective.

No matter how old we get it totally feels like we are back in high school when it comes to crushes.....If i were you I wouldn't tell him.......Let time take its course and if it is meant to be that down the road you and him are to hook up then he will be the one to say so. As far as telling yourself that you don't want a boyfriend; is he aware of this? If he is then he might be putting up a shield because he know this, which is keeping him back from telling you he likes you if he wanted more from your friendship?
Maybe you can give him some hints as to "maybe it wouldn't be too bad to have a boyfriend since you are not getting any younger" or things of that sort.

There is no reason why you should not say something. What is the most that could happen? He could tell you he is not interested, but then you would not waste any more time on him so it would be better anyway. Your 27 and game time is over. Being honest with people is the best way to go. I mean you dont have to be overwhelming, just let him know your in to him and see if he feels the same. You never know, he could be shy or wondering the same thing as you, he might also be thinking if its ok to tell you how he feels, and if thats the case the relationship would go now where if you dont make a move yourself.

If you guys are already going out and spending time, talking for hours...sounds to me like you already got a crush from him on your hands not just you. Us independent woman don't think we need a man or just want to be alone, we are going to end up lonely if we don't do something soon, myself included! So I say go ahead and jump for it girl!!!!
