The 5th question in me "Seven Deadly Sins" series.
Explain the deadly sin of wrath/anger. Include Scripture if you can.

Just to be clear, when I mean anger, I mean excessive and uncontrolled anger.

Anger is manifested in the individual who spurns love and opts instead for fury. It is also known as Wrath.

Mat 5:22 But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, 'You fool!' will be liable to the hell of fire.

It's the kind of anger that lingers. As St. Paul warns:

Ephesians 4:26

26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

Righteous = Obedience

so there is a series now? i've never heard of it. honestly, i think the seven deadly sins are bogus. first of all, it's not from the bible so how can you really trust it. second:ALL SINS ARE DEADLY.
