Polish citizens can stay in any EU country without any visa... therefore a deportation order cannot concern him... unless he did something illegal.
I'm sure about it! He can even work without any problem but not sure if he can get benefit.
Advise him to go to his embassy so they will explain him his rights but say him not to worry.

if he is a Polish citizen in another EU country he has the right to stay. he may not have the right to work, he may noit have the right to claim benefits, but Im pretty certain that a Polish Citizen cannot be deported from another EU state.
unless he has done something seriously wrong legally (eg serious crime)
