where do i go to take care of a traffic ticket turned warrant. downtoun la where. lost orig. ticket.?

i now live in murrieta ca. but i recieved this ticket in los angeles about a year ago. i lost the original ticket and im not sure exactly where to go.

Oh man, you must be magic like David Cooperfield or something, one second you have a ticket in your hand and poof,bam, bang--in a cloud of smoke-- it turns into a bench warrant....
Start calling L.A. court clerks to check, Unfortunately there are a lot of jusrisdictions and a lot of courts...but you will be in the computer and if you don't take care of it, you will be taken into custody at your next speeding ticket....<---this did not happen to me, but a friend of a friend told me about it.....
