Human beings are effectively animals, but we are different because we have attained something the animals have not. I believe animals have spirits, but not the same kind that we do. A spirit is something that you need to put life into something- make it breathe. This is why although we could manufacture a human body, we could not make it live.
I know I have a spirit, and it is one that can connect to the divine, but I feel that animals are more perceptive of the paranormal so maybe their spirits are more primitive and natural than ours are when we've been affected by our modern environment.

Only the human beings have a spirit or soul. That allows them to have a discretion of doing good or bad. The animals have no choice except to follow their genetic-code.

Your spirit is the spark of life that is maintained by respiration. Every member of the animal kingdom has a spirit. It's not anything that survives physical death and travels to heaven to dwell with God, though.

spirit-gives the life
soul -is the feeling and sensations you get
animals:
spirit-they breath and live
soul-not sure but some say they do because they feel sadness and they also sense evil

Your spirit is the same life force that animals have. It's the life force given to us by God and when we die, the life force goes back to God. You become nonexistent like before you were born..............

i know humans do. ANd i believe animals do too and when they die their spirit goes back to GOD.
