I am going on my first cruise to Mexico in June. I am going to Ensanada and Cabo San Lucas on Carnival cruise lines. Does anyone have suggestions for shore excursions? How much do they usually cost? I am also wondering what spa treatments cost. I am trying to plan ahead so I have enough money saved up! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Cabo is great. Out of all the ports of call I've been to, it is in my top favorite 3! The water is crystal clear, the people are very friendly. As far as shore excursions go, they can cost anywhere from $15 per person on up to $250+ per person. A good average I'd say is $50-65 per person.

If you like playing in the ocean water, I suggest doing that in Cabo. We did ocean kayaking there and it was superb! Kayaked over to the arch where we saw many a sea lions playing and frolicking about. Paddling back, several sea lions swam along side us. It was just great.

I've never done Ensanada, so I have no suggestions there.

As far as spa treatments go, don't pay full price! Most cruiselines will offer specials especially on days at shore. If you don't mind not spending your entire day on shore you can save some major bucks in the spa.

Have tons of fun. Cruising is the only way to go!

I just got back a few days ago from a cruise to mexico, it was awesome.
Shore excursions are usually relatively expensive. It all depends on what you chose to do. Like for example snorkeling per person might be anywhere from $80 - $100. Not cheap. I just enjoy going to the beach and walking around the town. In Cabo its nice to walk along by the marina past all the shops and restaurants. Reminder that in Cabo you have to take a tender to shore, there is no dock for the cruise.
For spa treatments it all depends on what you want. It can vary from $60- $200. Whether you get a massage, teeth whitening, nails done or whatever you chose.

Enjoy your cruise, if you have any other questions feel free to email me.

Happy Cruising!

99 percent of the excursions are about 100 bucks or so. I highly recomend swimming with the dolphins! That was so amazing! As for the spa on board.... its not that great for the money. They will have "spa specials" everyday of the cruise. they run about 100 bucks. But keep in mind...It is a separate company from carnival so the tip is not included in your cruise cost. And beware....The push their products really heavy and want you to buy something...Which run 25-100 dollars. I hope this helps! Also, shopping is duty free and you can get some GREAT deals on jewelry. :-)

Mexicans don`t interfere with Cruise ships and also you don`t opt for a Passport see you later because the deliver is returning to an same port it left and also you're on it. no one needs a Passport You received`t be requested for what you've yet you're nonetheless in possession of what you should use if some thing is going awry. Bon Voyage
