Sometimes the gum will not separate and let the teeth come out. You probably ahve to go to the dentist and let him cut the gum so the teeth can come out. But the sooner the better.

My daughter cut her first two teeth at 3 months. I can't imagine why your 20 month old doesn't have any. It sounds like some kind of delayed condition. Check with a pediatric dentist.

What are you waiting for you must go the doctor or dentist right away. All the baby usually get their teeth when they're7-8months. My all three kids get their teeth in 7-8 months.

I have no clue why he has no teeth. What I can tell you is to make an appointment for him with a pediatric dentist to have him checked.
This may be perfectly normal. Its much better to get the opinion of a professional. Ask his pediatrician if he/she believes its a problem. If so, then ask for a referral to a board certified pediatric dentist.
Good luck.

I think that they are probably there, just under the gums. You should make an appt with a pediatric dentist and the dentist will be able to go over everything with you. Ped. dentists are used to working with kids and their offices are usually very child oriented, not scary and the patient often gets a prize when he or she is leaving.
