I have a 74 oz water mug that's not glass but plastic. How many days can I drink from it without washing it?

Wash it at least every other day. You risk breeding some nasty bacteria and a nasty film in the bottom if you don't wash it at least every other day.

I use a water bottle that's plastic to drink out of. The only thing to keep in mind is that stuff leeches out of it, also it can develop bacteria if you leave it for too long with something moist inside, which can be hard to digest.

So now and again you can just give it a rinse, or run some hot water through it. Also if water sits for a long time in it, you may want to dump it out and rinse it to avoid the leeching chemicals that're toxic to a person.

Oh and I use a ceramic mug for several days on end, I drink coffee in the mornings, then tea in the evenings, I may just rinse it if it has deposits of coffee or something, then I keep using it. I figure no sense in wasting another cup.

But just remember about bacteria and leeching chemicals from plastic.

Whatever you drink will sit in the cup until its washed out or evaporated. And that gets disgusting!

truthfully as many days are you want if youre just using it for water. now if your fearful of bacteria etc wash it everyday. Personally for me I wash my water cup once a week, since its just me who uses it a general rinse before refill works for me.
