I am not much of a prayer anymore, but I can offer some advise, if you are open to it.
I have a friend in a dealership who delays repairs all the time. He says that the nice people usually get delayed the most, because they will be least likely to cause problems for the manager. If you are faced with two jobs that need to be completed at the same time, you are most likely going to delay the person who is going to be nice about it in the end.
Call them up and tell them that you NEED this car fixed TODAY, and that if it isn't repaired, you will call the owner of the dealership directly and ask why his employees have decided to ignore a single parent in desparate need of a car.
This will get you the results that you require. It won't be easy, but will get your car fixed. If you just sit back and treat them nicely, it will lasts allot longer.
