Ok, I've been talking with a guy and we've both been really busy and haven't had the chance to hang out since our first date. But he's been calling and so I thought he liked me. Well, we were supposed to go out last night, he asked me out 3 days in advance, then confirmed the day before, then the day of...never calls. So my question is, what do I do when (or should I say if) I get a call later on? I don't want to tell him off, we didn't go out nearly anywhere long enough for me to go off on him. I guess I just want to ignore him, but what's the best strategy on this? And for the record, nothing happened on our date, just a goodnight smooch. Thanks for your advice!

I would personal be upset but depends on who it is if it is someone I just started dating I could care less. But if it was my boyfriend I would be mad at him. But if you really care about him you should really talk to him calmly about it and forgive him if the excuse is legit.

call him, ask what happened and if everything is okay because if he scheduled it 3 days advanced some thing may have gone wrong. when you hang out or he calls pay attention to him but let him no you arent serious and you have other people in your life too. tell him the truth that you arent that interested. oh and by the way dont lead him on its not very nice and you may feel guilt after such a act.

IF you get a call later on, say 'i thought we were supposed to go out that day, what happened?' cue explanation (which you decide if it's cool or not). if he says' you never called me', then say 'well I mean, you asked me out, I thought you were gonna call ME.' etc.

don't let this dude off the hook if you really want anything real with him. i'm not saying get mad. just ask for an explanation. otherwise he will continue to do the same thing.

in general, just play it cool like it was not that big of a deal to you (and yet, as a normal human being, you want an explanation for breaking plans and not letting you know...)

Ahhh I've been in this situation! It just seems like he is talking to you at his conveinence and isn't caring too much about your feelings if he's OK standing you up! I think you should just let him go and find someone else. If he talks to you, be polite and answer him but don't go out of your way to call him or talk to him. If you really don't feel ok just starting to ignore him, you could always be straightforward with him and tell him that you just think it isn't going to work with you two. Good luck!

If you just want to date him who cares. but if you are looking for a relationship, i would not give him the time of day. I really cannot stand flaky people and could never be with someone like that.

The first time a guy stands you up, shame on him! Don't give him a second chance, cause the shame well be on you. There are plenty of decent guys in this world, so keep on looking.

I wouldn't even waste my time.. just let it be.. If he really wants to date you ... he would have called... and might still..

but, he sure better have a good excuse and some major *** kissing if you are going to give him a chance.
