Does anyone believe in prophecies or even destiny? i'll tell you why i asked that question, apparently since i was born i been so many people have been saying to me that i have a bigger role to play in my life and that it is in my destiny to bring balance between the good and evil. last week when i was sitting at a bus stop some old lady that i saw for the very first time in my life said that she saw bright wings behind my back as though i was an angel and that i will have to play a big role in the upcoming apocalypse. i mean im only 22 years old, and ive been hearing this all my life. Its only recently that i stared believing this. What exactly is happening to me? or have i been watching too many films. For real, is this normal? am i normal? Will i have to battle Evil? or am i on the Truman Show? whats your opinion...??

Try jumping off a tall building, if you have a destiny, it won't be time for you to die, if you do die, it's all in your head. For similar logic see the Salem witch trials.

Prophesy goes all the way back to ancient times and the first peoples who prophesized. Egypt. We "all" play a role in the end of the world scenario and much of that has to do with our behaviors. Not "one" person, alone, has ever changed the outcome of the world. Not even Jesus or any of the prophets of ancient times. In the eyes of God in heaven, you, just as everyone else is important, but not one person stands out above another. I am not saying you may not be more "gifted" in psychic abilities than others, but if you ARE, just remember you are "also" not the only one born with this gift. Use it for good rather than evil intentions..........

I truly believe we all have a purpose in life and fighting evil is a part of that. We are tempted everyday by Satan. I don't believe it's up to you alone to balance good and evil but it's very possible that God has big plans for you. You should pray about it and seek His guidance. Allow for God's will to be done through you. That is all any believer can do.

It's not a matter of believing in prophecies - they are there, whether one believes in them or not. Any prophecy is tested by the word of God and any prophet is tested by the fruits of the Holy Spirit. There is a difference between diviners and prophets, there is also a difference between divination and prophecy - and there is a thin line between the two!
If you are christian, such things shouldn't bother you. Just live your life as the Lord leads!

I would not set my money on playing a big role in the upcoming apocalypse but start small, by helping out my fellow man :)

i believe in prophecies...
you will have to fight "Evil" all your life...as do the rest of us...
maybe you do have a certain role to play here on earth...i don't know...you have to decide that...
