Why is that (some) christians ask a questions specifically towards atheists asking them why...whatever they want to know..and then pick some christian slamming atheists as the best answer. I mean why bother asking atheists if you don't even really care what their answer is?

Someone asked atheists why we believe the universe popped into existance from nothing........alot of atheists answered actually explaining their beliefs and the best answer went to a christian saying that atheists were heathens, wrong, unfaithful..yada yada yada. If you really don't care to know what we believe, and why...why bother asking us?

For the same reason that so many atheists ask Christians questions, then choose an atheist's reply as best answer. It's human nature to think that the person who agrees with you is right.

It's certainly not limited to one side or the other here, as you can tell by taking a look at past questions. Objectivity is seldom a major concern among theists and non-theists alike when it comes to choosing a best answer.

Not being a christian, I can't answer your question.

But, to be fair, it does seem quite a few atheists ask questions of christians just to pick the "best" answer that makes the most fun of the christian beliefs.

Boy, the christians do get mad don't they? I had someone visit my 360 page just to leave me the comment: "athiest are devil". The same someone was too chicken to have set anything up on their own 360 page.

i assume you need to bolster your question by utilising giving an occasion of a large question approximately evolution that atheists stay away from. additionally, did you recognize that evolution is technological understanding and not faith? that's genuine.

I don't know why they do it... they don't understand the logic of HALF of what they're attacking and it makes them look bad, yet they still do it anyway. It reminds me of a chained dog that nearly kills itself snarling and yapping trying to attack someone on the other side of the fence who's only walking by. (sigh)

The challenges to Buddhism and Hinduism are pretty wasted effort too. If you don't know what someone really believes, it doesn't make much sense to try to attack it.

Many people, regardless of their religion (or lack thereof) are selfish, self promoting twits who set up questions simply to slam people different from themselves.
I have seen it happen too. It's embarrassing to share the same religious title with them when it happens.

Bravo! Not so many people of any stripe here want real answers. It's kinda too bad, we could have had some good exchanges.

it makes the religious people feel good,

Its like bullying, we Christians must have some really bad problems if we're going to bully the Atheists...

Granted, I dont have any atheist friends... but I have lots of friends who are non-Christian, and if we're going to be nice to them, its only fair to be nice to everyone regardless of whether or not they share our beliefs...

I guess they feel that by authorizing it as a best answer it makes it valid and means they agree with it.

I don't know. It is quite strange indeed.
