Yes I am just talking about getting a response back like if you send one to disney Mickey and minnie will send you a response or send one to the pope. i know they will not come but just to have the keepsake would be nice. And for those who answer with sarcasm why waste my time by posting an unhelpful answer and just making your self look stupid. Don't read something if you really have nothing relivant to say.

I got married in June of 2000. I invited the Govenor of our state and President Bill Clinton. Of course neither attended, but I did receive a keepsake letter from Govenor and a Western Union thing from President Clinton. We were thrilled and our wedding guests were impressed.

Maybe Mickey and Minnie will send you back a keepsake since it's just a stamp that a person making $5 an hour slaps down but the Pope, the president and most famous people will not. Heck, I saw Jon Bon Jovi at the souls game and the jerk refused to sign autographs. Famous people are mostly a*ssholes and they won't take the time do so something nice for you like respond or give you a keep sake.
but it never hurts to try!!

The only ones I have heard of is the one to the current President and maybe a govenor. You can look up the address on google. As for Mickey, I have never heard of it, but maybe just send one and see what happens? If your invitations aren't too horribly expensive, its worth a shot. I think it is a cool keepsake.

I honestly never thought of it, but it would be soooo cool if a response came back. I would look in your town records and see if any famous people were from there and if so send one to them who knows they may actually come. I would say go for it. Worse thing that could happen is they don't respond.

Congrats and good luck

there are of course no guarantees, but it certainly is worth a shot. you may not receive a response directly from the celebrity, but rather someone who takes care of mail for them. I know some people who have gotten autographed pictures back, but they were still excited! I wish you all the best of luck with that and I hope you get something back!

That's a riot....are you telling us it can happen or asking if it does? I still have the congratulations from the White House when my kids were born...it is a cool keepsake. I don't think it's lame.

I know my aunt and uncle have a certificate from the pope blessing their marriage. I don't know the details on how they got it, but I'm sure the local diocese may have information. Hope that answers the question.

I completely agree. HHH vs Taker exchange into the main dominant journey on the Wrestlemania card. i does not argue it fairly is worth 5 stars by using fact something like that would desire to purely be like the HBK vs Taker journey at Wrestlemania 25.
