Yes there is a huge difference between God and you. For starters He is God and you are not. Only God is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.
You cannot answer prayer however God can use you as the vessel through which the answer to a prayer is given.
You are not God that is why we do not pray to you. God's response to prayer is not like using a magic 8 ball.

Well if you never actually answer the questions and people only know what your answer is after it either happens or hasn't happened in a long time then there would be no difference.
Just remember that whenever your kids ask for something you don't blurt out an answer.

You don't answer prayers.. HMM lets test this... I just prayed.. DID you know what I said? Nope.... Only God knows. that is why I don't pray to you. And noone else should.
