i think that now its making me feel loopy. do i have to be weened off or can i just stop taking it?

Prozac has been prescribed for clinical depression i am assuming. Clinical depression isn't just something that comes and goes. You should always consult your doctor before quitting any meds he/she has prescribed you.

Having been on prozac myself I personally made a decision that I no longer needed it and my doctor gave me a weening off rota.
it worked out that I was firstly taking one every other day for a week then every third day and so on until I came off them altogether.I think it would be dangerous to come off them straight off - so i would say have a chat with your doctor

You can ween yourself, as long as you talk to a doctor. You may just need to change your medication, but its unusual if you have needed to be medication that 3 months would cure you.

You need to talk to your doctor. Never go off antidepressents without speaking with the doctor that recommended them in the first place.

you cannot abruptly stop taking it, consult your specialist about it.
