I am a proud father of my 13 year old daughter Kristin and she recently asked for me to buy her thong panties and thong swimwear. I think she is a great kid as she has a 4.0 G.P.A and she never has gotten in any trouble but I am worried about this. I never had a reason to doubt her before and I am raising her by myself. It's just that I know when I go to the beach and see a young teen in a thong, as a 33 year old guy, I know it would excite me. I can only imagine if the boys know she is wearing it, what it may do. I dont want her pregnant and I dont want older guys on the beach to be checking her out. What, should I do? She is a very pretty innocent girl, and I dont want her to be some older mans masturbation fantasy. Should I just say no?

Thirteen is much to young for a thong swim suit.Not only from the exsposure point of veiw,what about waxing? And as for thong panties,they are a leading cause of urinary tract infections,not pleasant.I would try to figure out why she is interested in such an extreme choice.

Your instincts are right. NO. I would also be concerned about why she WANTS to wear such a thing. She's at the age where she's realizing she can get boys (and men's) attention, and that's appealing to her.
STick with the NO, but realize that if you're not with her, she'll trade with a friend and wear her suit, without your knowledge or permission. My friend's daughter did just this. She'd go to the beach in her modest suit, and then change into something much less appropriate, that a friend brought for her to change into.
I would investigate more WHY she wants to wear it. Explain to her how it will make boys and MEN feel to see her wearing it. She needs to know. I'll bet she's not even thinking of the 50 year old man sitting on the beach... just the cute boy.
Good luck Dad, and keep your eyes wide open. Check up on her, when she's not expecting it. That will keep her honest.

I would say no to this one with one exception. The only reason she should have a thong is to wear with white pants. Otherwise this no thong, no thong swimwear. Your daughter sounds like a great kid, but I think a little bit of peer pressure is getting to her. Try sitting her down and have her explain to you the exact reason or reasons why she wants a thong. If it is anything besides what is stated in my second sentence, NO, NO, NO.

No your daughter should not get a thong because think of all the perverts out there and what they might try to do or the things they may try to pull. You should just say no. It maybe right for her to wear thong panties because their underneath her clothes but thong swimsuits is definite no.

HELL NO. She is 13, make her put some clothes on. She can wear a one piece bathing suit until she grows up and leaves home. If she complains too bad. You are the grown up she is the child. You make the decisions NOT HER.

Absolutely not! 13 is way too young for that kind of clothing. Explain to her that in several years that she will be able to wear those things, but right now it is just not appropiate.
